So yes, I’m for synthesis ending. Why?? Well because I belong to those people would couldn’t kill EDI and I’m proud to say it. She helped you during ME2 and ME3, at the end she declared that she feels human, because she could have feelings and even do jokes, and suddenly SBAM back to reality, sorry EDI even if you have human feelings and even experience love like other people you’re still a robot so you’ll be killed!! :/
Come on! How can you do that to her? And also I think that at least since people have a longer life pan, Liara won’t be alone for at least hundreds of year.
To bring back Shepard, I imagine a headcanon synthesis ending, in which Shepard’s conscious is still here in the galaxy, and since everyone has Shepard’s DNA, she is able to reconstruct her own one based on the DNA left over by the crucible through the world.
The catalyst has not been created by the reapers but by the first civilization, victims of the reaper. The crucible was the weapon to channel the energy that would put and end to the reaper cycle, and the catalyst the VI that would analyze the situation to find a solution to do it. Since they didn’t have time to create the crucible, the civilzation hid the catalyst in the Citadel. The reapers wouldn’t think that the weapon of their demise would be hidden in their own weapons of destruction
The catalyst intrigued by what Shepard said before dying, watch the galaxy and Liara. Eventualy without noticing, the catalyst stated to have feelings and decided to help Shepard to come back in this world.
Liara, believing that Shepard is not dead, after a dream in which Shepard’s conscious talked to her, look for her loved one for 2 centuries (or one not sure). And after several event that I won’t write because too long, Liara brought back Shepard.
I intend to draw a comic of this ending, I just need to find time to do it. So here a preview. It was the occasion to inform also that I based all my fan art on this ending in fact, the “fan art" in which Aria will kill Kai Leng included…
Oh and I don’t want to hear about all those argument about the synthesis ending and especially about this indoctrination one… if you want to torture yourself with hurting ideas, do it alone.

you do know their's a mod out their called the happy ending mod where EDI doesn't die at the ending but outside of that cool picture
